The nightmare and loss of lives faced by motorists plying the Abuja-Kaduna expressway in the hands of bandits and kidnappers is far from over after a Kano based businessman, Abba A. Fagge has become the latest victim to lose his life to the criminals. According to a tweet by the Head of Media and Publicity of the JMD Foundation in Kano, @AM_Saleeem, Fagge was abducted along the Abuja-Kaduna road two days ago by armed bandits and demanded the sum of six million as ransom. He said the family of the kidnapped victim got the money and directed to take the money (the ransom) to Ogun State as demanded by the hoodlums. He further said the brother of the now deceased Fagge took the money to the criminals in Ogun State, only to discover that his brother had been killed. It was not stated whether the reason for killing the victim was as a result of delay in getting the ransom to the bandits. A yet-to-be-identified traveller was Monday morning killed at the popular Chris Chemist Roundabout in Enugu. The attackers operated in a mini-bus, our correspondent gathered. A Sienna bus was also set ablaze by the unknown men at the scene of the killing. A witness said the aim of the attackers could not be ascertained. He however said, “Today is sit-at-home. The victim seemed to be travelling.” ASP Daniel Ndukwe, Enugu State Police Command’s PRO, told newsmen that the victim was rushed to hospital where he was confirmed dead. Photos of locally made electric cars produced in Maiduguri are currently making Nigerians happy on the internet Read More Recall that DJ LEGIT TV had earlier reported that a young man called Mustapha Gajibo is producing electric cars in Borno state The cars have now been rolled out in full and photos have shown them being charged and used for commercial transport . Locally made electric buses have been deployed in Maiduguri, the Borno state capital. The buses were produced by Phoenix Renewables led by young Nigerian Mustapha Gajibo. According to a tweet shared by Gajibo, the cars have been put to use in the popular city and they have so far carried 21,000 passengers.
